I served 3 yrs. Regular Service with the R.A.F. (Canal Zone & Cyprus) 1952 – 55.

How many of these officers who "stitched-me-up" served in the H.M. Forces - it is my guess that none ever served their country - their actions certainly does not indicate they are capable of trust or companionship required in dangerous, life threatening situations while serving abroad.  

On my return to civil life I worked outside in the Credit Trade for approx. 25 yrs. (1955 - 1980) but in Feb. 1980 I accepted a challenging position with Northumbria Police working outside (Scotswood & West End areas of Newcastle) as a civilian Warrants Officer.      While working dilligently, and conscientiously, for law and order I did not realise there would be so many 'colleagues' in opposition, but was it the competition they feared or the thought their overtime would be affected?        Stop overtime and you would immediately see floods of tears and a rush of resignations from the Police Service....forget about camaraderie-companionship-esprit de corp-friendship etc. all these fancy names mean nothing when overtime is being dished-out....overtime is more important than life to most officers and I will shortly reveal how overtime can be 'created' by desperate officers.    

SO WHY HAVE I BOTHERED TO CREATE THIS WEBSITE....BECAUSE I AM PUBLIC-SPIRITED AND FIND IT NECESSARY TO SPEAK-UP HOPING OTHERS WILL MAKE CONTACT AND HELP CHANGE OR IMPROVE OUR PRESENT JUDICIAL SYSTEM WHICH IS COSTLY AND MOST UNFAIR.....MOST UNFAIR TO NON-CRIMINAL OFFENDERS (minor motoring offences etc.) WHO ARE PURSUED FOR EVERY PENNY WHILE THE REAL CRIMINALS ARE ALLOWED TO GO FREE. 

PLEASE HELP ME PERSUADE POLICE AND POLITICIANS THAT BY ADOPTING A NON-COLLECTING OF FINES POLICY - ALLOWING FELONS TO GET AWAY SCOT-FREE WITH THEIR FINES.....AND THEIR CRIMES - WILL CERTAINLY NOT STOP OR DETER FURTHER CRIME......surely this is just commonsense!!!! 

LAW AND ORDER IS VERY COSTLY SO WHY ARE FINES ALLOWED TO GO UNCOLLECTED..THIS LOST REVENUE AMOUNTS TO MANY £Millions EACH YEAR.      And what happens to 'whistleblowers' who try to stop corruption.....they are either dismissed or face an uncertain future....look what happened to me for openly speaking out and disclosing the scandalous "Non-collection of Fines".......Having worked diligently and conscientiously since leaving school in 48’ (+3yrs. Regular Service in the R.A.F.) being out of work has not been easy, harnessing unspent energy is the biggest problem, and since that fateful day in August, ’95 we have struggled to survive.    Holidays depended mostly on family kindness and the occasional stroke of luck on the Pools/lottery, payment for D.I.Y. jobs, or an Insurance Policy maturing.      When I took on the Northumbria Police Force in Nov. ’94 (processing an Appeal to the N.P. Auth. exposing the non-collection of Fines) I did not fully realize the extent of their power or how they would use it against this mere mortal – when two Senior Officers look you in the eye and tell you “the only job you will ever get is sweeping the streets” (or words to that effect) then you must believe them – foolishly I continued to ignore such intimidatory threats.     Since my official retirement date (65 yrs.) I have been forced into many ‘meaningless low-paid jobs’ but at the same time developed new skills which have prevented me from ‘vegetating’ into an early grave – for the past few years I have been building computers (mostly for family members and friends) which took my interest to the Internet and Website.       Only recently I decided to renew my Driving Licence (old one expired Jan. ’05) and was absolutely amazed when I received a new Photocard Licence with my £6 cheque returned….ordinarily I would be delighted with such good free-service but I still remember warnings of the past (from the few police friends I depend on for info.) “Do not drive a car – we have been told to look-out for you, to check your documents and the condition of your vehicle” (or words to that effect) and the only time I have chanced my luck is when my daughter goes away on holiday leaving her car so that Mam & Dad can look after her house (miles away from here) and her 4 pet dogs.    Naturally I am ultra-careful and cannot ignore the thought they (the police) could/would be waiting for the moment I use my new Licence.     You must be asking “why have you not complained to the Police Complaints Authority?”……I have made several complaints (to my local M.P. and P.C.A.) together with undeniable documentary evidence but no action was taken, and no interest was ever shown.         Take my advice, do not think of making complaints against the police, the P.C.A. are yet another barrier to safeguard the police reputation, little do they realise they are condoning many illegal aspects by not investigating complaints by members of the public.....members of the public are the only ones in a position to report/inform them of such acts.    BY ALL MEANS KEEP TRYING TO GET YOUR COMPLAINTS ADDRESSED!!!!!

Some time ago I learned that the P.C.A. had changed its name to Independent Police Complaints Commission and I can only presume it was changed to deceive members of the public into thinking that this was a truly INDEPENDENT body setup to investigate complaints against the police, which I personally do not believe, and I have good reason to think only the name has changed,  and those same PCA staff members remain doing the same jobs.
